With the 2006 Turin Winter Olympics in full swing the news is full of motivational stories of the athletes who have been striving, literally day in and day out to get to perform and to perform at their best.
Take British skier Chemmy Alcott as an example, competing in her second Olympics.
Skiing since she was 0nly 18 months old she dreamt of winning an Olympic medal. She still has the piece of paper on which she wrote that dream down.
Many people have dream of their successful futures (as we get older, they are called goals!), but how many actually work to achieve those dream.
It would have been the easiest thing to have kept that dream message safe, without taking action to achieve the result, but then it would have remained just a dream. How much more rewarding to be where she is today?
